Your fog chiller thread still has life left in it. I feel privledged to be able to post in it. It should have it's own website. I don't think it will ever go away.

    Hello gmacted,
Thanks for the info. I went back to the original thread and think I am starting to understand the thing now. Hopefully you can answer a couple of questions. Will the vortex style work with a 48 quart Coleman cooler, it is the rectangular shaped type. I viewed your FOTR system along with others to get a basic design. The Vortex system has a 90 degree elbow that goes to the top of the cooler, correct? This can be the inlet or outlet depending on how you use it. Should I put an elbow on the other pipe? Does it affect the way the fog flows? If you use the cooler the way Vortex proposes the inlet flows into the expansion chamber. The fog rises through the ice, and than escapes out the the 90 degree elbowed pipe to the outside. Is this correct? Again does the pipe that does not go up 90 degrees need to have an elbow turned to the side (I am asking the same question twice). I think this is the set up I saw Someone (maybe Fright Zone) use with a cauldron. Last question is what do you think of this system or what have you had the most success with.
    Thanks for your input.
