Halloween favorites
Where I am from Mardi Gras is the big event, though Halloween is picking up after Hurricane Katrina.
The best part about my costumes is I can use for either Mardi Gras or Halloween. I felt I wanted to have some halloween characters so I decided to convert my golden brocade French Aristocrat into The Vampire Lestat, like the movie. Just needed some teeth, cape, vampire medallion and real red lips. Thus my vampire character was created. I also wanted to do a real scary charcter so I decided to be An Evil Warlock. I got the costume, wig and staff off of the internet and not that very expensive. White facial makeup and black lips added to the costume. These are my two of my three costumes that are used for Halloween ( though they can be used for Mardi Gras as well).

I wish I had more time available to get back into dressing up, really miss that.
I think once Jaidyn gets into school things will start moving again.
