Default Walls with PVC?

Looks like I'm gonna do a dot room in our garage. Wal-Mart's got great black fabric really cheap, so this is a cool effect I can do for very little money.

I'm leaning towards making the room frame from PVC, since PVC is pretty cheap, too. Should I make a 10x10x8' cube? Or do you think I should make wall panels with legs that rest on the ground with 'T' PVC connections? I'm not sure what the best way to use PVC to keep traffic from tripping on any pipes that are on the floor.

BTW, our local Wal-Mart has black posterboard on clearance for $0.10 a sheet. This could make a great floor!

I made some spring-loaded PVC tubes for supporting black fabric for my porch display. Think pole-lamps and you'll get the idea. They have a short piece of PVC that telescopes out of the long pipe. I put rubber caps, like on the ends of crutches, to give them some grip on the floor and ceiling. Makes setting up the cloth walls a snap and beats heck outta using duct tape. Cheap and easy to make. Let me know if you'd like a pic of the construction.

Its possible to use PVC and not have poles across the doorway. Just build it around it with no supporting bottom in the doorway. You can use the complete square on the walls, but then just do 3 sides and use 90 degree couplers to make it safe to walk under.
