Default ZOMBIE WALK in NJ

Calling all NJ, PA, NY and anyone else who is local enough to participate.

The second Asbury Park Zombie Walk is being held on May 2, 2009, in Asbury Park, NJ. My husband and I did this last year and it was awesome. Once the times have been posted I'll update this along with a link for other information.
Last year was the first one and almost 400 people turned out.

Just thought I'd let y'all know in case you want to make the trip to join us. I believe the NJ/PA Make and take chapter will be walking as a group. Anyone interested in attending that needs a place to get ready can use our house, so you don't need to drive in costume. At the registration to the zombie walk, there are also makeup artists assisting everyone in getting ready.

I am trying to get the whole family to come but their first reaction was what! - I need some video to show them what it is and how much fun we can have I know Patti had some from Last year. I will Google it and see what comes up.

So far I found this:

WOOOHOOOOO....looks like the NJ/PA group will be well represented. I don't know where the link for last years was, sorry Joe, but I know there was some video on YouTube.

Sharon suggested, and Kenny and I agree, that after the walk, while in full make up, we go out to dinner as a group. I found 2 restaurants that meet the qualifications that Sharon had...windows all around so that we can descend on them from all sides...hehehe. They are Ruby Tuesday or Applebees, but I'll keep looking till then. The restaurants in Asbury Park, that will be expecting zombies to drop in for dinner, are all pretty pricey. Besides, I think it would be MUCH more fun to go to a restaurant that ISN'T expecting us!!!

Im trying to get my daughter to come but she might have to work. My wife is working both jobs that day so no go for her. I probably will be coming solo. The only question I have is How much blood can you use?

From what I saw last year, the amount of blood used is NOT a factor. Some were pretty covered.
