Well, I woke up this morning and decided I might give this a try. I didn't want you guys having all the fun without me. So I dug through my box of recent thrift shop acquisitions and pulled out a suitable baby and started thinking. This is what I came up with: My Baby Bat...Dragos.
I cut the arms off the baby. Painted the baby. Cut off his toes, made claws from pipe cleaners and hot glued them on. Used coat hanger and made two supports that ran from inside his shoulders down through each leg. Cut out two wings from foam board, applied paper towel skin and painted them. Then coated them with poly...something something. Went to doctor and had poly something something removed from eyes after spraying self. (Note to self:wear goggles on windy days). Took other half of coat hanger, ran it through baby from side to side. Hot glued it to back of wings. Then I hot glued the wings to the sides of the baby. Again using hot glue I made his "mohawk" by squeezing the glue onto a cookie sheet into the shape I wanted. I painted it and hot glued it to his head. I think that was all there was to it.

He's not as clever as most of your props and he doesn't "do" anything, but I think he is adorably grotesque and it was fun to make.
