New Feature: Thread "Liking"

We have a new feature here on the forum, the "Like" feature. At the foot of every new thread is a new button, the button. This works very similar to how the "Like" feature works on Facebook. When you see a thread you like, you click the "Like" button to let the poster know you like their thread.

The use of the Like button will increase your post count by one. This is not to replace replying to a thread but is to be used in parallel to it. It's a good, quick way of saying you like something without needing to post a formal reply.

Any thread that has been "Liked" by at least one person will show a list of who likes the thread just below the first post.

This feature is not active in all forums. The forums that it is not active in are:

• Questions, Comments, and Feedback
• Welcome Room
• The Marketplace Forums
• Fun and Games

You also are unable to Like your own threads.

I haven't used the Like button, but I'm getting (as of this morning) a "Liked 1 time in 1 post" count - what's with that?

I think it means somebody liked one of your posts.

Ah, I see, and you're right - it means someone liked a thread I'd started.
