Course Description:
Attendees will learn about a variety of painting techniques, brush care, and paint additives to enhance the mood and detail that take your haunt to the next level. We will also be talking about how lighting effects can make or break your design and details. Cory will also give some tips and demos of the problems of colored lights in the haunt.
Cory will also be teaching a speed demo on how to add texture and paint to pipes to get the rusted and weathered look.
The painting techniques and designs that will be covered: 1) Faux wallpaper, 2) Peeling Paint, 3) Mold/water damage, 4) Holes and Whats Behind Them, 5) Concrete/Cracking
The cost of the class covers painting materials, wood panels and the supplies needed for the techniques demonstrated. The kit purchased will have a wood panel with step by step instructions for each technique. These will remind you of the process used to create the effect.
Also, time permitting we may demo some of the ChromaDepth (3D black light paint with glasses) that Terra has demonstrated on HauntForum.com
