While there wasn't much making today, going garage sailing was fun. I did get to get my Cauldron Creep completed (sans a few minor details) and I was able to provide drivers with all sorts of amusement on the ride home with the Creep hanging out in the bed of the truck. One girl was taking video of him and I got lots of thumbs ups from fellow motorists.
I did some checking on the swag I picked up at the garage sales and I found that the Brownie camera is worth somewhere around $40 it seems; not bad for $1.00. And that $15 steamer trunk turns out is worth anywhere from $100-$300. I found a tag inside which gives a date of 1900, so that was sweet. Looks great in the living room.
So I got some nice vintage stuff, got my Cauldron Creep operational, and had a great time hanging out chatting and drinking beer. Sounds like a good day to me!
